On behalf of the British Essential Oil Association, it is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Michael Richards, founder and former Managing Director of SRS Aromatics Ltd, on Friday 16th February following a short illness.
Many of you will remember Mike as a prominent figure in the industry who served as an Executive Committee member of the B.E.O.A from 1999 through to his retirement in 2004.
He was committed to help our industry. I had the pleasure of working with him on the board of our association and I very much valued his experience, good humour, and encouragement at the time.
Our thoughts and sympathies are with his family and his former colleagues at SRS Aromatics at this difficult time.
